Top Reasons Why Moving To the US Was A Great Relocation for Our Office Space

I won't make any bones about this but firstly, without lying is I didn't enjoy the idea of relocating to an office in the US and didn't see how we were going to be happier in a foreign country. My reasons were, I was so pleased and undeniably happy with where I was living currently. We were lucky to have an amazing home, the perfect car for the family and some parts of our life were certainly better than most people get to enjoy. I sat down and though about if I would miss having my good friends easily available and visiting any time that I could fit them in. There were little events to miss too like cheese and onion crisps, the English breakfast with extra beans, the local barbers who knew how to cut my hair every time I went in and the local baker who baked the best fresh bread on a Sunday. Whilst small things like that were very important, they couldn't be responsible for holding back my career and my family's fortune and with the US office market being so favourable currently that we had to move the business over and take advantage of what was out there. I decided to sit down the family and go through the situation delicately, telling them that even though they were important to me that to improve the business fortunes and to gain the best market share we had to move fast. I wanted to make the transition as smooth as possible, so I made sure all the moves were in place so we could be in a suburb like we were used to and got the children into a close-knit school that was very understanding about them moving away from a country they were happy in and consequently would need more help and guidance at first. We had to make some stark choices and they weren't easy but we had to get the children to understand why we were moving. The move has been and gone and I have to say that it has been a wonderful transition for us, we now love living here. So here's a few of my favourite things about living in the US. 1) There is incredible food. I did have my reservations saying that I thought I would miss English food, I cannot believe how good the food is here, you really need to experience it for yourself. I go restaurants that are some of the best in the world and that don't come close to my experience of UK restaurants. 2) The offices are bigger and modern. We had a few viewings and decided on taking Chicago office space and we are delighted with the result. Our important facilities are easily accessible in one place such as great parking spaces, speedy internet and a conference room that make meetings with clients and business associates much simpler. 3) The people are warm. It does help that we are an English family and we have novel accents to our American friends but it's more than that as the general feeling where we live is so friendly compared to our old home, that are really happy with the way we were treated. You will find that when you are shopping you get the special treatment regardless of whether your are spending big or just browsing. This is just a few reasons why making the move to the US was great for us and now we make more money than before.
